This handwoven textile is made from entirely from golden silk, a traditional Thai silk. Silkworms are raised and hand-reeled in rural Thailand. Carefully woven in our studio. Its matte sheen and uneven hand-reeled texture give it a primitive elegance.
The yarn is dyed exclusively with natural indigo, using no chemical agents. Our indigo dyeing process combines traditional Thai fermentation methods and Japanese indigo dyeing wisdom.
