How to Wash  (For all materials)

 

・Hand washing with a neutral detergent is recommended. Synthetic detergents may contain fluorescent agents or bleach.
・These ingredients may alter the color of the plant dyes, so we recommend not using them.

・Our white fabric is the natural white, Therefore if using a bleach-containing detergent may cause unevenness color and discoloration.

・Wash separately white fabric and dyed fabric or differently colored together as they may transfer color.

・Instead of scrubbing, wash by pressing on the soiled area to prolong the life of the fabric without damaging it.

 

How to Dry  (For all materials)

 

・Squeeze the cloth lightly without twisting.
・Spread the cloth, return to original shape and dry it.

・Turn it over and dry it in the shade as direct sunlight accelerates the fading of the fabric.

・Steam ironing make it soft finishing. (Please adjust the temperature according to the cloth).

・If using a thin hangers , it may cause the clothes deform. To use thick hangers or lay flat to dry.

 

How to Keep Colors  (For all materials)
 

・Cool water or salt water help keeping colors strong.
・Even if you use a mild liquid soap, dispersing it directly on a cloth may cause discoloration, Dissolve in water before washing.

・If touching the metal for a long time with the fabric wet may cause discoloration. 
・If Strongly acidic liquids such as lemon juice and vinegar adhered to the cloth may cause discoloration. 

・Keep in a place out of direct sunlight to prevent the cloth might get faded from the sun.

 

How to Storing  (For all materials)
 

・Keep it rolled up or unfolded in a dark place.

・Leaving it folded in direct sunlight can cause it to fade and suntan along the lines of the folded lines.

・If storing it for a long period of time, dry it in the shade to remove moisture from it before storing it in a dark place.

 

 

Silk Fabric

 

・Silk fabric should only need occasional hand washing.
・Never be washed in washing machine.
・Wash it up to 30°C and do not wash it by rubbing it, but by pressing the stained part.
・Be careful of the iron temperature as silk fabrics are sensitive to high temperatures.
・Lay flat it to dry.

 

Cotton Fabric
 

・For high-density 100% cotton fabrics, you can also wash them in the washing machine. 
・If using a washing machine, wash with as short a washing, rinsing, dehydrating time as possible. 
・Turn the fabric over and put it in the washing net to machine wash it since the buttons and some accessories may be damaged.

 

Hemp Fabric
 

・Hemp will feel stiff after it has first been washed, however, it will soften with every use.
・If massaging the cloth well to make it softer(casual finishing).
・For a formal finishing , Steam ironing will make it a taut and elegant finish.

 

Indigo Dyed Fabric
 

The first time you wash it, the color of the washing water will turn from brown to dark blue, but after a few washes, the color will fix. You can wash it in the same way as the basic care method. Direct sunlight will cause the indigo to fade, so please let it dry in the shade after washing.

 

Ebony Dyed Fabric

 

First few washes, the black powder will come off and stain the washing water, but after a few washes, the powder will disappear and the laundry water will not get dirty. Washing method is the same as the basic care method. Although ebony dyeing is relatively resistant to direct sunlight, it is recommended to hang it in the shade after washing to keep the color longer.
