This throw is woven entirely from KIBISO silk, outermost layer of the cocoon. Known for its uneven thickness and textured surface, KIBISO yarn is reeled by hand using traditional methods in rural villages in Northern Thailand.
At our studio, it is handwoven with careful attention to highlight its natural character and structure. The fabric is dyed in light ebony using traditional methods. Its substantial weave and moderate weight make it suitable for use both as an outfit accessory and as an interior throw.
